walls around us#10-The Walls Around Us by Nova Ren Suma

Haunting look at how our lives are affected by the choices we make.

PRINTZ CONTENDER

rose society#9.  The Rose Society by Marie Lu

Love the world building and Lu’s daringness to make the protagonist the antagonist.

heart of betrayal#8-Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson

LOVE the Komizar.  SPECTACULAR STORYTELLING. Cliffhanger….UGH

This is my favorite series of all time.  If you haven’t read it, READ IT NOW.  Some advice, this series is FAR more than a love triangle/love story.  It has some of the best world building I’ve read since Harry Potter. Pearson is a great storyteller and she allows the reader to figure it out!

winner's crime#7-Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski

One of my favorite heroines of all time.  Beautiful love story. Another cliffhanger…UUGGHH.

challenger deep#6-Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman

This is how you tell a story. No kumbayas. He has parents!

PRINTZ CONTENDER

queen of shadow#5-Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas

Very well written which we’ve come to expect from a Maas novel nowadays.  Great new characters. Epic tale.

an ember in the ashes

#4-An Ember in The Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

Not predictable. Best villain in a long time. Excited to see what’s going to happen with the new Emperor and Blood Shrike.

more happy than not#3-More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera

Great writing. Heartbreaking. Insightful.

PRINTZ CONTENDER
