TBR December

bang-bang-to-reads

I’ve been on a selection committee for YALSA last year and I wasn’t able to review books but I’m not on that committee anymore so I’m free to spread my opinions, YAY!

December is notorious for not many new releases so I’ll be taking this time to reread Harry Potter with my friends.

I’m 10 books from my Goodreads goal of 120 books and traditionally December has been a lazy month for me but I’ve a lot of vacation time and I will make it.

Other than Harry Potter, I’ll be reading:

crystal-stormCrystal Storm by Morgan Rhodes.  I actually already finished this book but I’m late doing this post so I’m adding it anyway.  Click here to see my review of Crystal Storm.

If you are unsure about this series, I would recommend it if you like adventure, magic, tyrannical kings, semi-confusing plots, love octagons, and brooding princes.

alchemists-of-loom

Alchemists of Loom by Elise Kova.  I’m a slave to the Goodreads rating and Alchemists has a whopping 4.5 and it has a hashtag on Twitter but I forgot what it was.  The cover kind of looks like a corny self published adult novel so I was worried but I just finished it last night and I liked it. You can request it on Netgalley. Review to come.

history-is-all-you-left-me

History is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera.  I received this book at BEA and I still haven’t read it.  I want to read it but I don’t because More Happy Than Not just killed me.  LGBTQ books tend to be sad and painful to read and I’m more of a fantasy reader-light and magical.  I keep pushing it back but I’ll get to it before December 31st.

What are you reading this December?
